Mat is so beautiful!! Westie that are handstrip really look so different. Their fur are so fluffy and full. I wish I can find someone to do them, it is such a difficult task.

I am now staying in Texas. I have tried to send TOto to 'Professional' once but in the end I suspect the groomer is LAZY and used a shedding knife instead of the proper stripping tools. In the end alot of his undercoat was CUT instead of pull. And they also took shortcut by trimming his fur. http://ourwestie-toto.blogspot.com/2011/01/bad-grooming-experience.html
It took about 9mths to correct and grow the fur out. We learnt a bad lesson and now doing it ourselves. But it is such a chore. My finger is always BRUISED after the intensive 3-4hours!
Ohhhh my God ! Pure Toto !!!!!!! Its such a pity that there aren't there any good groomers where you live. Why dont you try to learn better how to strip him by watching you tube videos? My groomer has taught me how to strip him but its so difficult !!!!! You can probably found someone even if he lives far away from your home just to go him there every two moths . The fur is so basic for a westie.
